The EQLBase Collector
A tiny companion app that reads your game log while you play. Every NPC you see, item you loot, and zone you enter helps verify this database — and every discovery is credited to your character, forever, on the contributors board.

How it works
- Run EQLBaseCollector.exe — it finds your game folder and asks permission to contribute (you can say no and use it offline).
- It prints a claim code. In game, type /say EQLB-XXXXX once — that proves the character is yours. No logins, no passwords, no accounts, no personal data collected AT ALL (except character name!)
- Play normally, leave it running. That's it.
In-game logging must be on
Type /log on once per character. Without it, EverQuest writes no log file and the collector has nothing to read.
What gets uploaded
Game events only: NPC sightings, kills, loot, zone visits, vendor transactions, and NPC dialogue. Your tells, group, guild, and channel chat are never captured — the collector's parser has no rules for them. Turn uploading off any time by setting "upload": false in the config.json next to the exe.
