Nagafen's Lair — Sol B — is the deep volcano, home of the great red dragon Lord Nagafen and the kingdoms of fire goblins, imps, and kobold priests that live in his shadow. Its camps are the stuff of legend: Efreeti, King Tranix, the Noble Djorn — names that meant endgame gear for the entire pre-planar era. In Legends' instanced tiers, those camps finally belong to whoever shows up ready.

Why come here
- The premier 40s dungeon of the era: Efreeti boots, Tranix crowns, and the drake-hide gear built every melee of the age.
- Dragon raiding starts here — Nagafen is the classic first raid target, and Legends tiers scale that story up.
- Enormous zone with parallel camps: multiple groups fit without stepping on each other, even outside instances.
Dangers
- Nagafen himself sleeps at the bottom — wander into his chamber under-leveled and the fear-plus-fire breath ends everything at once.
- Fire resist is the stat of the zone; imps and goblin wizards nuke relentlessly.
- The Efreeti and Tranix camps chain respawn on a timer — a group asleep at the wheel gets repopped mid-fight.
- Long, deep corridors mean long, deep corpse runs — bind smart and clear escape routes.
Getting there
Enter through Solusek's Eye (Sol A) and descend to the border tunnels, or take the direct Sol B entrance from the Lavastorm slope east of the Sol A trail. Bind at the mountain base and memorize the way out.
Good to know
- Lord Nagafen is the classic red dragon raid — bring fire resist and a plan for fear.
- The Efreeti quarters, King Tranix's throne, and the kobold king camps are the historic money spots.
