The Estate of Unrest is a haunted manor on Faydwer's coast, cursed after its master dabbled in powers he couldn't control. The grounds crawl with ghouls and dark boned skeletons, the house itself with festering hags, dust devils, and worse things in the basement. It's the definitive undead grind of its level range — and one of the most infamous train zones in EverQuest history.

Why come here
- Wall-to-wall undead: paladins and clerics get full value from every anti-undead tool, and the exp density is among the best of the range.
- The yard-to-basement difficulty ladder lets one group grow into the zone across ten levels without moving camps far.
- Classic gear checkpoints drop here, and in Legends the instanced tiers mean the famous camps are actually available.
Dangers
- "TRAIN TO ZONE" was practically invented here — the yard funnels everything to the entrance, so keep an escape line in mind at all times.
- The house pulls multi-room aggro through walls and floors; fight in the yard until your group can handle chained adds.
- Festering hags and the basement dwellers hit far harder than the yard trash — the difficulty curve is a cliff, not a slope.
- Mummies and ghouls stack disease and poison — bring cures.
Getting there
On Faydwer: from Butcherblock Mountains, follow the coast north past the dwarven docks and hug the shoreline to the estate gates. Nearest bind and vendors are back in Kaladim.

- The zone's difficulty ladder runs roughly: yard, first floor, second floor, basement.
- In Legends, tiered instances have been observed here (Refined label confirmed in play) — tiers scale difficulty, and the undead density makes every tier a pal/clr playground.
