Draan N-Ryt
Classic-script dialogue (4)
Say: “hail”
I am Draan N'Ryt, provider of the purest [adamantite ore] and master smith of [adamantite chainmail]!
Say: “adamantite ore”
Adamantite ore is a very special metal that we smith in our unique Teir'Dal forge with our highly specialized techniques. It is also used by ogres in the crafting of their war plate and weapons. Adamantite ore can be worked like standard ores into bricks, blocks, and sheets but must be tempered with Neriak Nectar instead of water. Folded sheets of adamantite must also be tempered with Neriak Nectar and must be hammered with our Teir'Dal smithy hammer instead of the crude standard one. Our Teir'Dal enchanters have also developed the means to enchant small bricks of adamantite. Ogres may work adamantite ore in their forge as well but they must temper it with Ogre Swill instead of Neriak Nectar and because of their immense strength still use the standard smithy hammer.
Say: “adamantite chainmail”
Adamantite chainmail can only be crafted in our unique Teir'Dal forge using our highly specialized smithing techniques. It is a durable armor that is so light, it does not hinder even those who practice the mystical arts. All pieces of adamantite chainmail require the appropriate chain pattern for the piece desired, a Teir'Dal smithy hammer, a silk swatch, and shadow temper. Veils, neckguards, and bracelets require one set of adamantite rings. Coifs, mantles, skirts, sleeves, and gloves require two sets of adamantite rings. Tunics, capes, and leggings require three sets of adamantite rings. Once you have mastered the art of crafting adamantite chain you may want to attempt [enchanted adamantite] chainmail.
Say: “enchanted adamantite”
Enchanted adamantite chainmail requires an appropriate chain pattern for the piece desired, a Teir'Dal smithy hammer, a silk swatch, and shadow temper. Like standard adamantite chain it may only be crafted in our Teir'Dal Forge but requires that the rings be crafted from enchanted adamanatite.

Say: “hail”
It is good to see new blood in our halls. I am the leader of this house. If you are looking for guidance, seek out the masters within. I rarely appoint tasks to new recruits, unless I need to retrieve the [foreign take].
Say: “take”
We have rogues operating in a few great cities. We send young rogues to retrieve the monthly take. We have been awaiting the Freeport delivery. The last youth I sent must have been killed along the way. I will need a new runner to [retrieve the chest].
Say: “chest”
You seem able enough. Here. Take this note to Freeport. Go through the Commonlands and be careful not to encounter any Freeport guards. There is a network of aqueducts accessible through hidden passages. Search the outside walls of Freeport. Take the note to Giz. She will meet you at night, on an island in the harbor. Good luck.
Say: “trade”
I thought you might be one who was interested in the various different trades, but which one would suit you? Ahh, alas, it would be better to let you decide for yourself, perhaps you would even like to master them all! That would be quite a feat. Well, lets not get ahead of ourselves, here, take this book. When you have finished reading it, ask me for the [second book], and I shall give it to you. Inside them you will find the most basic recipes for each trade. These recipes are typically used as a base for more advanced crafting, for instance, if you wished to be a smith, one would need to find some ore and smelt it into something usable. Good luck!

Say: “hail”
Greetings child, what business do you have here? I'm sorry but I will only deal with Clerics that are willing to prove their loyalty to Innoruuk. I cannot deal with every single heathen that feels it is necessary to bid me a good day. If you are a [Cleric of Innoruuk] I might be able to aid you in your training.
Say: “cleric of innoruuk”
Is that so $race $name. Well from the looks of you I wouldn't say you are much of anything yet. However, if you have the willingness and determination to serve your God then there might just be more hope for you then I would have thought. Obviously, to move forward in your training, you will need to shield yourself from your enemies and from the elements. I believe I have something that could help you if you are still [interested in proving yourself]
Say: “interested in proving myself”
Well I must say that I am impressed by your eagerness to learn, however, you are not the first and will not be the last I am sure that has sworn devotion to our Lord Innoruuk. Lets just hope you don't end up in the burial grounds where many promising young ones before you have found their resting place. If you are ready to begin gathering items to fashion your very own Initiate Darkpriest Armor then I will present you with a [magical relic].
Say: “magical relic”
I have a box that I have been keeping for quite some time and have been waiting to present it to someone like yourself. Someone that I had faith would be strong enough to use it's power to their benefit. This magical box can be used to refine certain metals into a magical compound that is used in crafting Initiate Darkpriest armor pieces. I have the molds necessary to craft Initiate Darkpriest [Helms], [Bracers], [Boots], [Armguards], [Greaves], [Gauntlets] and [Breastplates]. However there are some [important items] that you will need to collect before the molds will be of any use to you. One thing to keep in mind is that I suggest you craft your Breastplate last due to the difficulty of obtaining the items needed for that specific recipe.
Say: “important items”
There are certain items that will need to be gathered in our great city of Neriak along with many different things gathered outside in the Forest of Nektulos, where most of your training will take place. The most important component that you will need to collect while adventuring in the forest are Helms that are only worn by Priests of Rodcet Nife. These vile creatures have set up camp in the forest from what I have heard and it is your responsibility to find and execute them. These helms will be your most important component that you will gather because it is used in all [armor recipes] as the metal that you will forge your armor with.
Say: “armor recipes”
Ah of course, I almost forgot that you will need to know what items to combine in the Dark Blessed Box that I presented you with. Simply tell me the armor piece that you wish to craft and I will give you the list of items that you will need to combine, along with the applicable mold. For example, should you want to craft a Helm first you would say, I want to craft a Initiate Darkpriest`s Helm. Please remember that the exact items must be combined in exact quantities in the box or the infusion will not take place. After you have combined together the items necessary to infuse your metal the correct way, you will need to take the Refined sheet of Holy Metal to the nearest forge and combine it with the correct mold to yield your armor piece.
Say: “armguards”
Excellent $name! To create the correct compound in your Dark Blessed Box that will be need to be placed into a forge with this mold to craft your Initiate Darkpriest's Armguards you will need to collect and combine the following items. 3 Helms of the Lifebringer, 1 Garter Snake Tongue, 2 Ash Drakeling Scales and 2 Grapes.
Say: “boots”
I would definitely agree that you will need some decent Boots if you wish to last long in any extreme climates like Lavastorm! Combine 2 Helms of the Lifebringer, 2 Fire Beetle Legs and 2 Flasks of Water to fashion the correct Refined sheet of Holy Metal. Once you have done this place the Refined sheet of Holy Metal along with this mold in any forge to craft your Initiate Darkpriest's Boots.
Say: “bracer”
To fashion your own Initiate Darkpriest's Bracer you will need to collect 1 Helm of the Lifebringer, 1 Orc Scalp, 1 Snake Egg and 1 Red Wine. Combine these in your box to create the correct Refined sheet of Holy Metal that you will place in any forge along with this mold to craft your Initiate Darkpriest`s Bracer.
Say: “breastplate”
So, the time has come for you to gather the items necessary for your most important piece of Armor Branaddar. You will need to combine 5 Helms of the Lifebringer, 1 Deathfist Templar Scalp, 1 Embalming Dust, 1 Matted Halfling Hide and 1 Woven Grass Amulet. Once you have prepared this final Refined sheet of Holy Metal place it in a forge along with this mold to craft your Initiate Darkpriest's Breastplate. After you have done this return to me when you are ready for your final test of loyalty.
Say: “gauntlets”
To fashion your own Initiate Darkpriest's Gauntlets you will need to collect 3 Helms of the Lifebringer, 1 Halfling Blood, 1 Leatherfoot Raiders Skullcap, 1 snake scales and 1 glass shard. Combine these in your Box to create the correct Refined sheet of Holy Metal that you will place in any forge along with this mold to craft your Initiate Darkpriest's Gauntlets.
Say: “greaves”
Take this mold $name. You will need to place this in a Forge along with the correct Refined sheet of Holy Metal to craft your Initiate Darkpriest's Greaves. The correct Refined sheet of Holy Metal for these greaves can be fashioned by combining 4 Helms of the Lifebringer, 2 Spiderling Eyes, 2 Deathfist Legionairre Scalps and 1 bottle of kalish.

Say: “hail”
Hail, $name! I sense the gift of hatred in your aura. What status do you hold within these Spires?
Say: “initiate”
Well met, Initiate $name. If you desire to raise your station in this temple, I have a task for you. Are you willing to accept the task I am about to set before you?
Say: “willing”
As an initiate of the Spires, you have proven your hatred of the halflings who are desecrating our forest with their feeble shrines and camps. They persist in their hopeless task and seem to anticipate many of our tactics against them. Go out into the Nektulos and slay the one called Master Whoopal. Take his head to Draxiz N'Ryt so that he may probe the brain.
Say: “disciple”
I have an important task for a disciple of Hate such as yourself. It is no secret that King Naythox Thex wishes to expand the Teir'Dal Empire to the continent of Faydwer. We have a camp established in the Lesser Faydark near the stronghold of the vampire lord, Mayong Mistmoore. The camp is constantly under siege by the Fier'Dal and Koada'Dal and must rely on the support of Neriak for supplies necessary to survival. Are you willing to serve your King and Empire by delivering the provisions?
Say: “deliver the provisions”
The provisions are crated and prepared for shipment by Dran Slug Rembor. Go to his establishment in the Foreign Quarter and tell him Ithvol sent you. Make haste, young disciple of Hate! The fate of the Empire hangs upon our support of the Faydark Camp!

I have assembled a kit that is used in the crafting of Ashen Bone Mail. You must travel beyond Neriak into the Nektulos Forest for the [materials] that compose the armor.

I am the Scribe of Innoruuk. If you do not have business with me, begone!
Say: “innoruuk”
I am his scribe, and He is our god. There is nothing else to be said.
Say: “scribe of dal”
The Scribes of Dal? All of them are long since [dead].. or at least most would say that.
Say: “dead”
Perhaps, perhaps not. I cannot remember, but perhaps Innoruuk would help me remember should you tithe him a bottle of red wine from the Blind Fish.

What is this I see before me? A would-be hero of the Dead? You reek of false bravado. I have seen others much stronger than you meet their fate at the end of a blade. I see no reason to continue our conversation. How can one such as you assist with my [delegated duties]?
Say: “delegated duties”
Why do you ask? I know why. Glory has captured your affections. Those who seek glory find death. Still, you may be of some use. Before I assign you a task, I must be assured of your power. I require you to [perform a test].
How dare you enter my presence?! In the name of the Dead I should strike you down!
When you learn to serve the Dead, then I will find the time to speak of such things.
Say: “perform a test”
In the Lavastorm Mountain Range there have been sightings of a paladin, one Sir Lindeal. He has compromised our routes between.. well, that is none of your concern. All you need to know is that this paladin of the Temple of Marr must be sent to his everlasting life. Do so and prove your worth to us. I await your proof. Use no assistance. If you are truly his equal then I shall know. I know all.
Say: “Thex Mallet”
All you can know is that the Thex Mallet is desired by our Queen. If we are not successful in its retrieval, it will be our heads which adorn her trophy room. We have learned its location and believe it to be broken into three separate pieces.
Say: “Queen Cristanos Thex”
The Queen of the Teir'Dal is the most powerful of all. It is she who should sit on the throne and not King Naythox. The Dead are her humble servants. We await the day when she shall finally take her rightful position as ruler of Neriak.
Say: “King Naythox Thex”
A competent and powerful warrior, but a warrior nonetheless. He has suppressed the true glory of the Teir'Dal. Perhaps it is time for a new ruler of Neriak.
Say: “appointed tasks”
When you learn to serve the Dead, then I will find the time to speak of such things.

Lower your voice, $race. These tomes hold many secrets as well as curses. Say the wrong word loudly enough and you may end up a frog, dead, or worse. Heed my warning for I will not repeat it.
Say: “flayed”
The flaying is done by our priests and the Denouncer. Flaying itself is used in many other rituals as well. For instance, the skin of a flayed goblin can be used to record a misdeed. The perpetrator records the misdeed upon the skin, an ancient practice which allows the victim to wreak [vengeance] upon the one who wronged them, or their ancestors. The perpetrator shows strength by allowing the victim a chance at vengeance, even though the victim is usually dead.
Say: “vengeance”
Vengeance can only be wrought if the victim is given the goblin skin. Since the victim is usually dead it's not much of a danger. But..it has been known to happen. Ironically, this vengeance is possible through the use of the Blue Flame. This flame can act as a doorway to the nether realm, to [summon] the spirit of a victim. On the skin is recorded the House name of the victim and the reason for the deed.
Say: “summon”
Only the Denouncer can call forth a vengeful spirit from the flames. But before he can do so, he'll need blood from a member of the victim's House. Once the blood is cast into the flames, the spirit will emerge only for a short time before the negative pull of the other world draws it back. Why do you ask so many questions on this? Do you have one of these skins?
Say: “yes”
Ahh, well I'll assume if you could read it you wouldn't be asking these questions. Fortunately for you I do have the ability to read these skins and will do so for only one star ruby. These spirits will often reward those who give them their vengeance. With my translation you may find the name of the House. Hand me the skin and a star ruby and we'll see.

You have performed admirably in the past, so I shall overlook your tardiness responding to my call. The wizard Salarz is a Teir'Dal now in the hands of the Knights of Marr in Freeport, but we have good information connecting him with the Dismal Rage and the Temple of Solusek Ro in a plot to create a phylactery. Somehow, this is connected to the news you brought from Befallen about the resurrection of Marnek. One who might know the answer is the oracle in the Ocean of Tears. Seek him out and learn what is required to create a phylactery so that we will remain one step ahead of any others. Go now and take this letter for the oracle with you!

What have we here? Another hopeful member of the House of the Ebon Mask? You've got much to learn before you will be of much use to our House or the secret operations that support both the thrones of our King and Queen. First you need to outfit yourself in a suit of [armor], $name.
Say: “armor”
Seek Kanthu M'Rekkor and give him this request parchment. When you have outfitted yourself in a suit of armor return to the House of the Ebon Mask and I will grant you [another task].
Say: “other task”
Ah, you are eager to advance further within the House of the Ebon Mask. Although it is my duty to aid your training, do not allow your arrogance to blind you to your lowly position in our House. I can see that you have not yet learned to temper the use of your tongue. Your next task is to assist the construction of a [weapon] and [bow] worthy of being wielded by a Rogue of the House of the Ebon Mask.
Say: “bow”
The Halfling Druids from Rivervale that frequent the ancient druid ruins in the Nektulos Forest are guarded by Leatherfoot Warriors. The peck druids perform the rituals that they hope will prevent Innoruuks corruption from spreading deeper into the Forest and the lands beyond. Should you slay the peck warriors guarding the druids and obtain a Leatherfoot Short Bow, take the bow, a Black Mamba Skin, and a Lock of Zombie Hair to Andara C'Luzz at The Bleek Fletcher in the Neriak Commons near the headquarters of the Indigo Brotherhood.
Say: “weapon”
Beyond the mouth of Neriak lies the Nektulos Forest. There the Halflings of Rivervale have set up camps at ancient druid holy sites in an attempt to cleanse Innoruuks corruption that is spreading through the Nektulos Forest. Slay these trespassers and bring me a Large Snake Skin, a Halfling Fibula bone, and a Halfling Clavicle bone.

We've found some strange items off the dead in the dungeons. At first we just thought they were simple things -- rocks, pebbles, gems, and the like -- and then we noticed they had very unusual auras about them. Well, one day, Morden Rasp was toying with one -- a shiny green shard -- and he went to scrape it with his dagger. Suddenly, the shard began to reform and fused with his dagger. While the dagger remained as fine as ever, Morden himself felt a surge of strength! So, you will want to watch out for these strange magic pieces in the world. Now, I suggest you go talk to Selephra Giztral, Barstre Songweaver, Vual Stoutest, Teria Grinntli, or Ruanya Windleaf. They handle all of those who are interested in working for the Wayfarers Brotherhood and getting rewards. Remember well what I've told you!
You show a great deal of courage in coming here to speak with me at such a young age. I'm afraid you are not yet ready to pursue work with the Wayfarers Brotherhood.Come back when you have more experience and we will talk again.
