Any Steel Warrior that is caught not wearing a helm is usually placed on probation. We feel it is necessary sometimes to do this so that our younger ones in training will understand the importance of keeping your head well protected. To create your helm material you will need to combine two Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, one Rat Ear, one Meat Pie and one Barley in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Steel Warriors Helm.

As you progress further through your training you will find yourself in heavy battle more and more often. Bracers will ensure that you are able to fend off your opponents blows with minimum injury. To create your bracer material you will need to combine one Brick of Crude Iron Ore, one Rotting Zombie Skull, one Snake Bile and one Tiny Dagger in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Steel Warriors Bracer.

A slash or gash to the arms can greatly hinder a warrior's combat abilities. Wearing these armguards will ensure that this does not happen. To create your armguard material you will need to combine two Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, two Young Kodiak Paws, one Young Plains Cat Scalp and one Freeport Stout in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material, take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Steel Warriors Armguards.

Boots are very necessary for any warrior especially when you will usually be the one leading most combat units. Being on the front line and treading across terrains first make good boots a must. To create your boots material you will need to combine three Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, one Shadow Wolf Tibia and two Spiderling Eyes in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Steel Warriors Boots.

While most armor pieces are very vital to a young warriors survival, greaves are one of the most important armor pieces you will craft. To create your greaves material you will need to combine four Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, one Giant Fire Beetle Brain, one Lion Tail, one Bottle and one Young Puma Skin in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Steel Warriors Greaves.

Keeping your hands well guarded is without question the most important thing a warrior will do. Suffering a blow to the hands that would prevent you from defending yourself would most certainly mean death. To create your gauntlet material you will need to combine three Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, one Armadillo Tail, one Severed Orc Foot, and two Spider Legs in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Steel Warriors Gauntlets.

The bigger problem is the Freeport Militia. Go to the Hall of Truth and speak with the Knights of Truth about that. They have already started their campaign to rid the city of the militia. The so-called Freeport Militia is not to be trusted.

The green and blue was a test for all skilled warriors. All one needed do was return to me four orc legionnaire shoulderpads. Two from the loathsome green skinned Deathfist Clan and two from the vile blue skinned Crushbone Clan. But we have no more bunker battle blades to spare. We must prepare for war!!

Pleased to meet you! If you are a newcomer to Freeport then you can clearly see we are having quite the rat problem. If you are interested, the militia has granted me some coin to reward those that bring me four rat whiskers.

Ah, you're here to receive information. I've have a steady stream of messengers bringing me more history around the goblins and orcs in the Rujarkian Hills. It's a very interesting story. The gods themselves were involved, don't you know. You see, Solusek Ro, the lord of Flame, created the Serpent Mountains by arching the crust of Norrath and brought burning heat down upon the inhabitants of Norrath. A tribe of goblins and orcs were trapped somewhere beneath the surface. The ages of evolving, warring, and fighting produced the result we see in the hills. The goblins lost their control of the hills some time ago, but I don't know when. There is much more behind that story though. I can tell you more later. There are too many ears about.

More about the Rujarkian orcs and goblins, hm? Well, over the years, the orcs trapped underneath the Rujarkian Hills advanced in ways we've never seen. There are no other orcs in our lands that have attained the same organization and strength these vessels of battle have. There was no way the goblins could prevent the rise of the orcs and the fall of their superiority in the hills. Run along now please, I'm expecting someone. I'll see you soon, I have no doubt.

I certainly understand your continuing interest in the evolution in the Rujarkian Hills. Those poor worshippers of Brell Serilis, the goblins, really didn't stand a chance against the orcs. I can see why the dwarves aren't too fond of the idea that their own father has anything to do with the goblins. It seems reasonable to me though as both races are experts with life underground, wouldn't you say? Okay, I must ask you to leave again. Some of my more unsavory contacts will not approach while I have visitors.

How do you do, $name? We've done some more investigating into the Rujarkian Hills as more of our adventurers infiltrate the ranks. There are far more of them than we imagined. We've found some accounts of the history of the goblins too. Barstre Songweaver has had some time to study them further. You should go back to him. I'm sure the information is useful.

The items you will need to collect are all over the Freeport area, some in stores some off vicious monsters. If you are up for the challenge though I will be able to provide you with the armor recipes and patterns for Stonehand [Cap], [Bracers], [Sleeves], [Sandals], [Trousers], [Gloves] and [Robes]. All you will need to do is tell me what piece of armor you [want to craft], and I will be able to present you with the component recipe and pattern needed for crafting it.

A cap will almost certainly be your most important piece of armor you will craft. To create your cap material you will need to combine 2 Matted Lion Pelts, 1 Malachite, 1 Snake Scales and a Cloth Cap in your assembly kit. In the case that you are not able to dodge a blow from an attacker a solid wristband will prevent you from getting seriously hurt. To create your bracer material you will need to combine 1 Matted Lion Pelt, 2 Rat Ears, 1 Coyote Pelt and a Cloth Wristband in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a Loom along with this pattern to fashion your very own Bracer of the Stonehand.

A monks body is a representation of all that he or she has worked so hard for. It would be a shame to see your body, especially your arms riddled with bruises. To create your sleeve material you will need to combine 2 Matted Lion Pelts, 2 Lion Tails, and Cloth Sleeves in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a Loom along with this pattern to fashion your very own Sleeves of the Stonehand.

Lightweight but effective, your Sandals of the Stoenhand will give you the appropriate foot protection without weighing you down while you are fighting. To create your sandals material you will need to combine 3 Matted Lion Pelts, 1 Giant Spider Egg Sack, 2 Severed Orc Feet, 1 Bone Chip and Cloth Sandals in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a Loom along with this pattern to fashion your very own Sandals of the Stonehand.

Trousers are a definite must for any Initiate of the Ashen Fist. You will learn to generate some attacks using your legs later in your training that is why it is necessary that you keep them in as best shape as possible. The gloves will assist you in hitting anything that might have some kind of magical barrier surrounding it preventing you from damaging it with your bare hands. To create your glove material you will need to combine 3 Matted Lion Pelts, 1 Giant Scarab Eye, 1 Rat Whisker, 1 Ale and 1 Armadillo Carapace in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a Loom along with this pattern to fashion your very own Gloves of the Stonehand.

Over the years, the Burning Dead fought many fierce and bloody battles with the paladins of Prexus, the Oceanlord. Though Marnek achieved many victories over the paladins, ultimately they were able to defeat him and destroy the Burning Dead. Legends say that before his defeat, Marnek created many powerful weapons and items, and wrote many books on his findings in the areas of magic. Many of these items were hidden away from the paladin forces, and remain untouched, waiting for Marnek's return, as the legends go.

I've heard a few legends of a powerful wand that Marnek himself used to wield. This was known as the wand of the Burning Dead, and was rumored to instill its owner with mystical energies. The legends I have heard all differed on the wand's creation and powers, but the basic story was always the same. I will [tell you the legend] if you like. The task I have for you is to bring me the two parts that make up the wand of the Burning Dead, before they can be assembled and used for evil once again. Bring me [Marnek's wand] and the [Sapphire of Souls], along with your orange sash, and you will have proven yourself a loyal member of the Ashen Order, worthy of receiving the red sash.

Say: “tell me the legend”

The legend of the wand of the Burning Dead goes basically like this, though you may hear slighty different versions from others. Marnek did a lot of experiments and created an unknown number of diabolical artifacts and weapons. One of his creations was this wand. Marnek fashioned a charred wand from the scorched bone of a paladin of Prexus, and Solusek Ro himself created the wretched Sapphire of Souls. Then, Marnek and his priests combined these, with the Burning Prince's blessing, to create the wand of the Burning Dead. Marnek used this Wand and its powers in his evil and destructive reign over Antonica. Years later, as Marnek starting losing battles to the paladins of Prexus, one of his own followers, a necromancer named Kenox, was able to steal the wand. Sensing Marnek's defeat, Kenox made his way toward Odus, hoping to strike a deal with the paladins for the wand. Would you like me to [tell you about Kenox]?

Well, Kenox was not as sly as he liked to think he was. Marnek knew full well what he was up to, but let him continue with his plans. Kenox had arranged to meet with two paladins late one nght on a small island in Erud's Crossing, a place that would be considered neutral ground. Sir Toran Neshal, leader of the paladins, knowing the power of the wand, was certainly not going to make any deals with a servant of Solusek Ro, and definitely not foolish enough to take any chances with this mission. Imagine the look on Kenox's face when a ship carrying more than 25 paladins, including Sir Toran, arrived at the small island! The paladins immediately captured Kenox and the wand, and headed back to Erudin. Would like me to tell you [what happened to Toran]?

Say: “What happened to Toran”

Below the deck of the ship, Toran and his men questioned Kenox and carefully inspected the wand. Toran ordered one of his men to pick up the wand and try to identify its true powers. The man picked up the wand, but was unable to decipher its magic. He handed it to Toran, just as Marnek and Solusek had hoped, and the wand exploded, instantly incinerating the ship and everyone aboard, and lighting up the night sky with a giant fireball. Marnek's plan had succeeded. With the help and blessing of the Burning Prince, they had destroyed Sir Toran and an entire squad of Prexus' finest paladins. Years later, though, the paladins were able to regroup and ultimately defeat Marnek. The wand of the Burning Dead was destroyed and gone forever. Or least, that's what we thought. This wand must never be allowed to be made whole again.

Marnek's Wand is rumored to be found in the depths of Befallen. Those who currently hold Befallen are said to be new followers of the Burning Dead. Probably believing that they may one day be able to awaken the evil Marnek again. This group must be stopped, and these evil items destroyed, before their wicked armies grow powerful enough to leave their horrible dungeon and spread throughout Antonica.

No one knows how this guy obtained the Sapphire, but we believe he is trying to strike A bargain with those who are currently holding Befallen. Apparently and we aren't the only ones who know of the Wand's powers, and this thief thinks he can make A profit from it. Sadly and his greed will surely lead to his death.

Gloves are very important for your early training especially Isola. While you are learning your first set of incantations you should not have to worry about any injuries to your hands. To create your glove material you will need to combine 3 Woven Spider Silks, 1 Giant Scarab Brain, 1 High Quality Cat Pelt 1 Zombie Skin and 1 Large Leaf Scarab Leg in your assembly kit.
