I had quite a bit of grog that night and it was very dark. What I do remember was seeing a tall woman in a dress run from the docks. She sort of smelled, too. Like fish. I know it was the docks, but this woman had a real stench to her. Like dried fish baking in the sun. That is all I remember. It was too dark to see anything but her [silhouette].

Yeah!! The silhouette looked like a very brawny woman. It had to be a woman. The silhouette was surely that of one with a short skirt and long hair.

The pirates of Broken Skull Rock have purposefully destroyed any accurate maps to protect the secrecy of their base. Three key parts are damaged. The compass notation, the legend and the coordinate label are all gone. Take this Cartography Binder. Use it to [collect] the fragments.

No doubt the pirates will have some of the fragments. Search Broken Skull Rock, paying careful attention to Gunthak and Dulak Harbor. An accurate map must be made. You have heard of the strange stones being recovered from ancient dungeons? It is true. Powerful stones of unknown origins have been discovered as of late in the newly discovered dungeons. I worry however if you were to try to augment your new weapon with one of these new stones. I have done some research and it seems the Red Scabbard used to combine and uncombined your weapon, could potentially harm any augmentation you might add. However with the help of Wenden here, we have been able to successfully forge all three versions of your weapon! The scabbard no longer works with them, but we have achieved some nice results by adding various augmentations to them. We could perhaps craft you a new set of weapons if you are [interested].

I found the book amongst some garbage littering the ground in Freeport East. It appears to have been created by an ogre named [Clurg]. I am sure he wants it returned. but I will never part with it. That is... unless I get a few [exotic ingredients] I need to experiment with.

The kiola nut usually grows only in humid territories. I hear there are some such lands between Qeynos and Erudin. Some also have been found on the islands of the Ocean of Tears.

Now that is an ingredient that is hard to obtain. Found only in the city of Erudin. it is a crime for anyone to attempt to smuggle it out of the city. If caught. a horrid death is assured. though I hear there is a frequent customer of the taverns of Qeynos who has a way to obtain the forbidden liquid.

Honey jum can be found in the halfling community of Rivervale. I hear it is used in many of their potions. I am sure it can be purchased somewhere in Rivervale. If it is not on the shelf it is surely known by the shopkeeper.

Some rare drinks call for ground up fish. I intend to use the Koalindl fish of Qeynos. It is said to be magical in nature. The problem with obtaining them is that you must get them from Jahnda's Pool near the Temple of Life and I hear that the members protect these fish with great ferocity.

Ariska Zimel was my best friend. He and I learned our knowledge of metal from such places as Halas and Kaladim. When he disappeared, it seemed to involve foul play. He must be alive somewhere in the city. I pray this is not the work of [Pietro Zarn].

While we were traveling through the Lavastorm Mountains, we happened upon a caravan. They wore emblems in honor of the evil god, Innoruuk. They did not see us, but we saw them. And most importantly of all, Ariska saw the apparent leader's sword. It was glowing with great energy. Suddenly, the evil knights were in a battle. The knights gave chase, leaving their camp unattended. The knight who owned the sword left it behind, opting to fight with another, leading me to believe it was not his to begin with. It was at this point that Ariska ran down and grabbed the sword. A few weeks later, we were to learn that the knight was a powerful man by the name of Pietro Zarn and that he was looking for a sword stolen from him. He called it .. Soulfire. I believe Zarn must have finally found Ariska.

Field plate may only be crafted in the special Freeport forge located in West Freeport. All pieces will require the appropriate plate mold. sea temper. a smithy hammer. leather backing. and chain jointing. Folded sheets of high quality ore can be crafted only in the special Freeport forge or Qeynos Royal Forge in the same fashion that regular folded sheets are fashioned in a standard forge. Field plate visors. collars. and bracers require only one folded sheet of high quality ore. Helms. pauldrons. girdles. vambraces. gauntlets. and boots require two folded sheets of high quality ore. Breastplates. greaves. and cloaks require three folded sheets of high quality ore.

Firiona Vie is an elven outpost on the continent of Kunark. Every so often I run supplies to and from there. Do not even think about asking me to take you there. It will be months before I can make improvements on the Blue Beast to make it impervious to aerial attacks.

Sometimes I even end up with a recipe!! If you want me to try to decipher one just hand me two illegible cantrips. No coinage necessary!! They are mostly apprentice spells. Nothing much.

While the dagger remained as fine as ever, Morden himself felt a surge of strength! So, you will want to watch out for these strange magic pieces in the world.
